So do you think the railways are a good example of privatisation working well? Is the state still subsidising the infrastructure? Is market competition driving down prices and increasing the quality of service? Re-nationalising some sectors is just common sense.

Public ownership of natural monopolies (like the railways) is not communism it common sense. One if the more ridiculous things about this country is the amount of people who get that wrong.

Post Office is already state owned. Guess she meant the Royal Mail but she should know the difference.

It isn't publicly operated though. It's basically an unofficial PFI at this point.
