This article by @natashakorecki takes negative and positive things anon people have said about Elizabeth Warren and lays them out for pundits to pick over. Naturally when words such as shrill, divisive or scoldy are used they will stick. This is a passive aggressive hatchet job.

It is a pity that a large news organisation can't arrange an interview with the target of their article and report what they find rather than perpetuating anonymously sourced gossip. Warren is eminently qualified to be a presidential candidate and already the snipers are out

So this is how Politico is going to “frame” things, is it? This is really despicable, but I’m not at all surprised.

Fuck off Politico

That is good advice. They are nearly at The Federalist level. By the way, I am glad I follow you.

"How does Politico and the rest of the media avoid a misogyny redux?"
-
They don't. They haven't learned a damn thing and what is worse, show no desire to do so. We have some heavy duty calling out to do.

All these powerful, unlikable women, compared to the very affable president
-
I'll admit, I was one of those weird people who actually ~liked~ Hillary (WHITHER MY PROFILE, POLITICAL MEDIA?!?!?), but since I'd rather gargle battery acid than spend three minutes with the sitting President, I do wonder why "likeable" is so very selectively applied.

Is likable a thing someone needs to be to get elected? Who knew? Oh and this is some bullshit.

This is so disappointing,

What you’re really asking is “how does she run for President while being female.” Way to keep up that deeply incisive journalism...pic.twitter.com/P3xcQHDubE

What’s not-to-like? What’s the likability index on her male competitors? Have you ever written this about a man?
