Take a look at what it says. He is saying the opposite of what he said to get elected in 2016 as governor. He is playing both sides of the fence for votes. Also ask him about the surplus $$ he inherited when he took over as Governor and how much the deficit is now.

Maybe he finally got sick and tired of seeing kids slaughtered in school. I know not everyone in America is there yet, but we'll see the final consensus in November.

Why should this be newsworthy or controversial?? Does any rational person support access of assault weapons to the general public?

I guess he doesn't remember that he is supposed to pick the state leader of the volunteer militia, form militia groups and fully support them with weapons and supplies necessary to stifle an attack by our "illegal standing army" when the miscreants in office direct the attack.
