this is evil respect for the dead is a fundamental human quality the people who abandon it are letting you know that they would rather be dogs digging up corpses than humans with decencyhttps://twitter.com/brynstole/status/1383883042742099969 …

If Hitler were buried in an identifiable place, I would say that the desecration of his grave was an inhuman evil That's the baseline for being a decent person, that we respect the remains of the dead. If you can't do that, you've lost a part of your soul

Every liberal has a story about their racist uncle or grandpa Show your colors A mob comes to dig up your grandpa and tear his long-dead body to pieces for the cause of social justice Do you cheer them on? Or demand respect for the dead?

          I don't think that's Lee's grave site. He's buried in Lexington

You are correct. That is not Lee's grave.

It is not only well thought out, it is historical I would argue that you have neither thought the concept through nor have any actual historical background for considering the question

Eye roll. Yeah bringing up hitler in defense of robert e lee is inane, an absolutely terrible argument, unless you are trying to argue there should be no statues of robert e lee either.

Since you apparently equate memorials with graves, does this mean you DO object to all the tearing down of Hitler's statues after WW2? Do you see the people who tore down these statues as having "lost a part of [their] soul"?

Exactly! Imagine being so ignorant as to think people who tear down monuments of bad men equates to losing ones soul, while killing millions upon millions as deserving respect in death. That dude really has no grip on reality!
