The real issue is not masks, IMO. It’s that most schools in DeKalb county do not allow parents in the building or extra curriculars due to COVID. It makes the schools and Abrams appear insensitive to parents, which is politically dumb. The whole event should not have happened.

Since people are QT: This was in the Decatur district, not DeKalb but in the same county and is supposed to be governed by the same advice from the same public health department. My son’s school is miles away from this one. It is the arbitrary nature of it all.
