Yes, correct decision, Facebook, like twitter are social media platforms, private businesses, they are not beholden to specific censoring guidelines of parliament. Also spreading misinformation about COVID is the last thing anyone needs, and they were justified in stopping that.

How did members manage to communicate with constituents before Facebook? Here's a clue: they had (and still have) allowances for printing and postage. They also have email accounts in their electorate and also in Parliament House.
