Mayor Pete isn't the only person who has told this lie either. Our entire culture has been telling kids "go to college and get a good job" since I was a kid and it's gotten worse.
People need #RealPayForAll, not massive student debt.

I say that a lot. The whole "go to college and you'll get a good job and be successful" myth needs to stop. There's so much fine print it makes legal documents blush.
We need #RealPayForAll, and a re-emphasis on alternatives to college, like trade schools.

Trade schools cost money too. We need to drop the notion that higher education exists to provide corporate job training for future corporate employees.
