In Scotland 3 in 4 suicides are male. We need to break the stigma and make sure men of any age know there is support available.

I've been deeply impressed by what I've seen so far of Police Scotland so far. Much work to do, but the Chief Constable and command team are wholly committed to respecting, and responding to, local needs and concerns. Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome!

Had the privilege of finishing my first week in Police Scotland by watching 222 new officers proudly parade in front of their families and friends. Those officers will soon be out serving every community across Scotland and they couldn't have chosen a more worthwhile vocation.
