twitch isn’t doing anything about it because gambling is too big an industry and generates revenue. it’s also capturing the pro sports scene aggressively as well.

that’s why public pressure is necessary imo, obviously they won’t do anything as long as it’s free money for them, but that’s not an outcome i want or am okay with.

Twitch has rules in place for anyone promoting or streaming self destructive behavior.
The fact that promoting ACTUAL gambling is not a part of that is ridiculous as most if not all of the time it is a self destructive behavior.
Promoting Gambling on stream should be banned

Poker is a game of skill instead of a game of chance, so while it is gambling you aren’t playing against a casino who will forever have the odds in their favour. You are playing against other opponents and through hard work and studying can give yourself a statistical edge
