    I keep going to ⁦⁩’s website to make sure it’s real and it is! My poem is right there forever in POETRY magazine and I’m thrilled and humbled and all around shook to be so exposed next to so many I love and admire ✨✨✨

    I wrote a poem after Deana Lawson. A beautiful photographer whose work I think about and wrestle with a lot. I worked on it for a long time. I think it haunts me a little. Thanks for welcoming it in.

    Here’s my reading list for the January 2020 issue of . I went for a mixture of collections and individual poems. I was curriculum planning at the time, so I was thinking lots about pieces that feel like an open door into poetry. I love them all ❤️
