I am an advocate on behalf of natural resource development and support peaceful protest as every citizen’s right. Provoking crowds to harm your political opponents is dangerous and reprehensible, a politics of fear, and should be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

Then file a complaint with the Senates Ethics office. You know, put up or....

I tried but Ethics wont consider complaints from regular citizens, complaints must be made by a Senator.

Shame, really a shame. Hyper partisan
#CPC senators have crossed the line many times but this is inciting violence and needs to be dealt with. -
On the bright side, Ive since followed up with a Senator who will look into it. Whether it goes to Ethics, I'm not sure but the Senator is taking it seriously.

Go back even further. The Grant Divine scandal. Cons wound up in jail and Tkachuk was referred to as rotting broccoli in the back of your fridge by a columnist in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix!

Someone needs to dig deep on this guy. Tkachuk’s involvement in the Duffy scandal and earlier. As far back as U of S student council days. Cameron’s book on Mulroney mentions him but doesn’t go far.

Hrmm. I think he'll argue it was metaphorical...a call to defeat them at the ballot box. But I also think - his choice of words was deliberate, and the crowd certainly didn't wait to hear him out. He stopped JUST short of an actual call to violence...intentional flame fanning.
