Isn’t the point that with the Irish border, citizens rights, and the divorce settlement now sorted, the EU is pretty relaxed about No Deal this time around? What actual threat does it pose them? I guess they’ll say “sure give it a go, and get back to us whenever you’re ready”.

Yup. If the Government is serious it needs to start remodelingthe ports and the haulage industry, and it has very little time to do it.

I have zero confidence in this Government. Johnson and Cummings are campaign winners but no idea how to actually deliver the important deal. They’ll both get bored as they have to understand the details.

The EU ( and the Remain establishment in U.K. ) have consistently misjudged the mood in the U.K. from before the referendum, Cameron, the actual referendum, 3 years of bickering, Boris etc. Odds are that it will mis read the U.K. again and get a hard no deal Brexit.......
