This does not equate to what you argued, and based on the study, it shows that the women hired are equally qualified and are less likely to be hired when they are less qualified.
So what's your explanation for women being hired at triple the rate of men from the same pool?

Most likely that women had to be 3x as qualified to be allowed into the pool, so of course those highly qualified women had a higher rate of being hired than the men who got in because they're men.
