You would need to make an intermediary case about the qualifications of the people in the applicant pool to even begin to use this toward your inference. What you've declared is just unsupported.

This is misrepresenting proportions. If there were fifty applicants and 7 were women that 14% then of the applicants if 20 were interviewed and 4 were women that’s 20%. See how the percent grew but the # of women is smaller? If you don’t understand math just say that next time.

Thank you. I didn't actually finish high school (because reasons), and I read those pull quotes, walked away to close a window, and thought "how do I explain this, because I feel like the percentages divorced from the raw data is lying with statistics"
