The study he's talking about only looked at hiring decisions involving "identically qualified" male and female applicants. It says nothing about less-qualified women getting hired over more-qualified men.

The only links I've seen you post are studies by Ceci and Williams. One of them only refers to hypothetical identical candidates (except one is male and one female) and the other finds that women don't get preference over more qualified men. Both oppose your original statement.
