Vast majority of AI researchers recognize AI ethics as an important field of study, just as worthy as any other AI subfield. Doesn't mean that everyone has to study it, doesn't mean it has less problems than other subfields, but DOES mean that @pmddomingos is extremely misguided.

Actually I did, and to be frank I find your arguments to be presented naively. Maybe there is depth that we can't see in the material you linked and that could perhaps become a solid and strong paper which I would be happy to read.

That we can agree on, for sure :-). But honestly each of the topics you touch on in your videos deserve a very extensive treatment. There are so many implications to these real life decisions...

It’s pretty much self evident that “AI ethics” is “ethics complete” in that it cannot be separate from general considerations of political organizations - and can only ever be a continuation of progressive politics.
