Making people feel like they understand something is a powerful force, even if it has little to do with reality (e.g., systemic racism, climate crisis).

Is the climate crisis really fake?

No, but the classic talking points are mostly BS. Banning plastic bags and trying to reduce air travel cause zero improvement and actually probably cause more harm. Technological investment in carbon capture and superior replacements is the only way forward, but v few say this.
