Computers make continuous math unnecessary. More than that, it becomes a hindrance.

Lets take for example beta decay. Discrete event, whatever you mean by that. Why could the relative direction of the electron and antineutrino not have any value? Any constraint/discretization on direction is information put into the theory that's not supported by experiment.

I'm not aware of any experiment that was able to find any discretization in that setup.

No, all detections of direction are discrete. (And it’s not discretization - there’s nothing continuous there to start with.)
