Weird (but true) to think that computers don't actually work with 1's & 0's but rather continuous distributions of electrical charge & then a threshold forces the outcome into binary 0 or 1. Then we jump through all these hoops to make this artificial binary represent reality.

There's probably some analog to how humans have always tried to distill everything into heaven & hell, good & bad, right & wrong, then govern peoples infinitely complicated reality using these artificial constructs... because it's "easier".
