It took me less than a second (a violin inside?). Should I expose my natural deep network as a public API and start charging big bucks for predictions? :-) On the second though, nah ... not scalable. VCs won't be impressed.

They already have this. It’s called AWS Mechanical Turk :)

What if someone build an actual room like this… what if this is an actual room…
-
I would absolutely live in that house. Wood stove, maybe a window or two.

The first deep network that recognizes a violin from inside will probably have had this picture in its training data. I am looking forward to a model that is many magnitudes smaller, has never seen it, and still understands what it is seeing
-
Yes, but training on test data is cheating.

Even I didn’t recognize this at first

I don’t think even most humans can recognize that this is the inside of a cello
-
Most humans cannot write a paragraph of text with the same level of stylistic sophistication as GPT-3

It literally took me (human) 10 minutes to figure out what this was. What makes you think a DNN can recognize this? I thought it was a wooden room
-
Took me a split-second, but then I've been fascinated with violins for most of my life (I've been training, I would say).
