Talking about my own country, without America Brazil would have probably not had a military dictatorship in 1964. And there’s some reason to think that without America we would not have had the soft coup against Dilma that eventually led to Bolsonaro.

Isn't it strange to believe that the world's military and economical hegemon wouldn't back regimes in foreign countries that align with their interests? Why wouldn't they do so?
