Understood, thanks for elaborating. Introducing the free market into education could make sense. I do see a couple caveats though:

1. Is this just for teaching institutes, or also research institutes? Could be hard for free markets to fund advanced research correctly. 2. Asymmetric information when students make choices, they could overpay/fall into scams.
