I think you misunderstand how the brain and "emotions" work. It's not like we have "discrete" "cognitive" processes that are magically separated from affective/emotional experiences. In 1884 William James was onto this: https://www.jstor.org/stable/2246769

Again, going back to my prior point, even definitionally the field is not a state of consilience at this time about what an emotion is/isn't. In addition, what "makes" an emotion is rather complex per my first quote tweet.
