You’re seeing things through US politics colored glasses. In the US even so-called left wing parties are right wing. That’s what’s confusing you.

But your classifier has still been trained with US data, does it matter that much where you’re from? Either way, I’m very curious how you justify your belief that parties like Italy’s the League, Spain’s Vox, Germany’s AfD, France’s FN, Austria’s FPÖ, etc are left wing.
