Again, you are making the mistake of conflating the *solutions* of the fundamental laws of Physics (energy levels of the Hydrogen atom, photons), with the laws themselves (Schroeding Equation, QED).
No, you have it backwards. Empirical reality is unquestionably discrete. That the current continuous laws have to be twisted into providing discrete solutions is their problem, not the universe's (or mine).

It's true. There is nothing continuous or infinite in reality. Those are mathematical abstractions. Reality is discrete and finite.
