I hope you are right, I just don't know enough about the timeline of consequences. The issue is whether runaway gw could occur. Its like how chain smoking can cause cancer but each day you smoke doesn't necessarily cause any bad effects but the day you get cancer it is too late.

Good to know, in general some caution isn't a bad thing because dealing with a planetary scale problem might get really hard at the end if the optimistic projections turn out to be wrong. A switch to cleaner fuels like nuclear etc would be good.
