The article actually provides many, many counter-examples to that narrative. Ex: "the share of national income going to those at or near the top has grown dramatically, concentrating the benefits of economic growth in fewer and fewer hands." So it's not that simple.

I said Bezos, the person. Not the company. Bezos alone isn't the one producing all of Amazon's revenue, is he? You're forgetting about all the workers...you know, the ones who have to pee in bottles because they're not allowed a proper break ?

I also said Bezos, the person. Amazon is worth two trillion, and that's after all the money it pays to its employees. Its profit margins are very small; it's the scale that makes it so valuable. The exploitation is in your mind (unless it's the consumers doing it).
