Do they? While I don’t doubt this, I’ve never run into one. Most that I have run into don’t spend much, or any, time talking metaphysics. Or do you mean in an implicit sense?
It's a perennial puzzle why mathematicians - supposedly more rational and logical than anyone else - believe in mystical, quasi-religious nonsense like platonic forms.

Because it's true. It's absurd to think that perfect forms can exist in the brain, let alone be the only place that can exist. If your only critique is that it's "quasi religious" all you've proven is your bias

How are properties of those perfect forms that supposedly exist elsewhere, outside of the physical world, being communicated to the mind of a mathematician who studies them? How are we able to learn anything about them? How do we even know they exist?
