All mathematics is produced by physical objects (brains, computers). Therefore the laws of physics determine what theorems are possible, and mathematics has no existence independent of our universe.

As E. Wigner stated, mathematics is unreasonably effective at modelling physical reality. Look at the development of math and physical science over the past few centuries. You can find many examples where a mathemical concept will be invented purely in the abstract, [1/2]
That doesn't contradict what I said. (And in any case, most of the time math is only reasonably effective, or not at all.)

You missed his point. Math is always effective. Whether or not we’ve the means with which to apply it is where we draw the line of the “abstract”. To say otherwise is to suggest we fully understand all of physical reality (which we obviously don’t).
