It’s interesting how the climate is chaotic and isn’t, depending on whether you want to claim that we’re on the verge of climate tipping points or that climate models can reliably predict the future.

Weather is chaotic. Climate isn’t. Quite predictable (eg: seasons).
OK, so there’s no looming tipping point and no need for decarbonization.

I’m not sure about tipping point but decarbonisation (done in a sensible way mainly with technological advances) has many advantages. Less pollution, less dependency on dodgy countries, etc.
