Unlikely IMHO - climate models need to project decades into the future, and we need to trust their output. If they are built on physical principles this provides some trustworthiness. If they are trained on present-day data they may not handle projected changes or be trustworthy.

Weather models OTOH might be amenable to enhancement/replacement. Some aspects of climate models might be improved/replaced by AI (cloud/radiation parametrizations), although above arg still applies. AI could be used to produce better clim emulators.
