You can't start doing analogies if you don't have a body first
In my experience, by far the ML paradigm that non-experts find most intuitive is reasoning by analogy. And yet it's one of the least researched today.

If you pull apart language, it's analogy almost all the way down. The analogies are grounded in a basic subset of cognitive tools. For example, every "thing" has a position, even if it is imaginary. Cognitive linguists have pulled this apart for us.
