I'm particularly disappointed that people in the ML community, who should know better, have swallowed climate models unquestioningly.

That was the chap arguing Greenland isn’t losing ice mass any faster than 80yrs ago? Not clear what special insight ML research gives on climate models. There are plenty of other disciplines with numerate modellers dealing with complexity/uncertainty.
