I don't get it. What powers do they "ask for?"
The biggest danger is not AIs taking over, but us handing powers to them that they never asked for.

My feeling of AI is that they will eventually carry all information that we carry, in our DNA and in our cultures/languages, so in some sense they are our children, and will take over, and we'll be like fathers who don't understand how it's working.

How could we be sure we are or aren't handing the AI something they never asked for? Such as all those camera AI that read data from all those lenses?!
