It's really sad how many evolutionary biologists I know who denounce evolutionary psychology.
In every age, the scientists making the major advances that will only be recognized later are often hidden in plain sight. It's hardly a new science.
@GadSaad has been at it for a while. -
So has the author of this textbook, David Buss - and this book is now in its 6th edition (I got the 1st back in, what, 1999?). Buss is a pioneer in the field, which I followed closely from the mid-1990s. Lots of insights in EP, but not only field that "understands" society.
