What time period would show that stark of a difference in death rate on ideological lines? Deaths don’t usually map to political ideology like that. I agree with so many of your thoughts on AI, but the political takes seem so off to me? What am I missing here? Pls prove me wrong!

I should say - I’m in Texas and it does indeed suck to have an anti-science governor. Our death rate - and the death rate of all GOP-run states right now - far exceeds the current death rate in Dem-run states. So electing Republicans really will kill your right now.

Is there another time in our history when states with Dem governors have had such radically higher death rates than states with Republican governors? I can’t think of any but again - please prove me wrong.
