When people will have truly AGI androids doing dangerous and unpleasant work for them with no option to refuse. Being sold, resold and disposed. And the murder of which will be treated as just damage to property. Isn't it a slavery?

I guess the question which would need asking is whether or not a true AGI would experience consciousness or just simulate it. This distinction would require the knowledge of what causes consciousness. Sympathizing with an unconscious system is like sympathizing with a lightbulb.

What stops companies from inventing using AI and filing under people's names without ever mentioning where the idea came from? Actually what difference does it make that an AI came up with the idea? AI has no rights so why does it matter for an AI to be noted as the inventor?
