Nah, it’s admission that there are paths to AGI that are more promising than the robotics/embodiment path to AGI.
OpenAI's abandonment of robotics is an implicit admission that they don't think deep learning can solve AI.

Respectfully yes, there was so much computational studies that helped narrowed drug target, structure termination, reuse of existing drugs, and modeling. It's not solved, but made us respond faster
