A wealth tax means that if you and I make the same and I spend all my income while you spend half of yours, you pay all the taxes. How is that fair?

What if I make $50k and spend all my money to stay alive, and you make $5MM and spend it all on parties and yachts and vacations, do you see any inequality here?

It’s fair under the assumption that both you and I spend money only on things we really need like basic necessities or healthcare etc. Then whatever’s left over is what you don’t need anyway. That assumption is suspect, but in theory if it holds true then the principle holds.

Working people should have their basic expenses paid by the job including food, and the rest of the money should be counted as net salary. Any taxes, should be filed against the companies and not the employees. In that way, there is a clear cut between people and businesses.

Erm, it's not that simple; in adition to wealth tax an individual is subject to sales taxes - as well as income tax deductions, property taxes, inheritance taxes...

A wealth tax means that if you and I make the same (and above a very high threshold; enough to accumulate say 50MM wealth) ++

and I spend all my income (with that income it is very hard if you are not opening factories, buying expensive art i.e. generating more wealth or at least circulating a significant amount of money) ++

It's fair b/c relative equality is a necessary feature of a stable democracy. Consider: if you're a multibillionaire & I'm just scraping by with 2 minimum wage jobs, then you have a much a greater stake in a stable status quo than I do. You should be happy... /1
