I've never heard anyone say anything remotely like that. Perhaps I somehow missed a big trend. Or perhaps you are more connected to misinformation from sources who amplify this sort of nutpicking (from 2014) in an effort to manipulate emotions.

With hundreds of millions of people making billions of posts, there will always be lots of nuts from every possible tribe to pick from. That doesn't mean you need to do it. There are plenty of serious concerns to focus on and major thought-leaders to be called out.
