Some* I have noticed this weird anti-human sentiment though.

I’m afraid it’s often worse than that. They have good intentions towards nature, but are shortsighted in their interventions which end up causing more harm than good to both nature and humans. Case in point: wind/solar vs nuclear; battery vs gasoline; etc.

Nuance is everything. Some environmentalists live in countries where the air pollution is so terrible that the sky is hidden for days. To call them anti-human for wanting people to breathe clean air would be incorrect.

There’s no pro-nature without including humans. Humans are part of nature.
