Why not have a @Kaggle competition to predict global temperature? Then we'll see how good those climate models really are.

Even if you're fine with temperature increases in the future, I struggle to understand why anyone is okay with toxic chemicals and micro particulates spewed into the air we breath. These effects are very real and anybody living in or near any major city has been affected by it.

Temperature increases in the future will most likely be insignificant. Whether or not you're OK with pollution depends on the costs and benefits of preventing or removing it.

Yeah it seems fears of extreme damage from climate change to human civilization & economy are much overblown; but that the risk of massive (nonhuman) species extinction (as has happened in prior historical climate changes) is pretty high ...

Climate change is not the main driver of species extinction. Habitat loss is.
