It's more or less insane to think you have any idea at all where technology will be in 20 years. the fear of AI has nothing to do with what's available now.

I guess you should rationalise your thoughts, and your predictions about future of AI in the next 20 years. Otherwise this sounds like a believe.

If you look at the fast incrementing speed of new developments and how long it takes for the government to react, I'd say regulations for AI should have been introduced 70 years ago

Or perhaps Musk and the like are worried that once AGI and ASI become possible, you’ve opened up pandora’s box. perhaps their worried that introducing a synthetic being with the capacity for exponentially more intelligence could be irrevocably deadly to humanity. 1/2

The cost of being wrong in this case is too high NOT to be abundantly cautious. Underestimating the future scaling of AI into its exponential growth phase (whether 5 years from now or 50) demonstrates a lack of imagination for how horribly things can go. 2/2

AI can do shit loads. I don't want to give ideas air on how a Hacker can combine
#AI with#IFTTT If you further combine#AI with#QuantumComputing - you end up with an abomination without sufficient controls. Are you listening@GoogleQuantumAI?Kiitos. Käytämme tätä aikajanasi parantamiseen. KumoaKumoa
