No one mentions what would have happened to Israel with they didn't have the Iron dome.
Iron Dome not only saved countless Israeli lives, it spared Gaza from an invasion. People who want to ban intelligent weapons should ponder that.

The often feared existential risk of modern AI systems does not come from AI overpowering humans or anything like that. The risk is giving too much power to systems that in terms of intelligence can't hold a candle to a fruit fly.
