Actually, that was true up to ~ 3 years ago. Computers alone are now far dominant.
The best chess players in the world are not computers, but human-computer teams, called "centaurs" in the chess community. Centaurs, not computers, will rule every profession in the coming decades.

what are some examples of this? Bots like alphazero dont follow traditional chess openings etc, and although GMs have studied alphazero games, they haven’t collaborated or improved upon their games.
