Can anyone name a single way in which Europeans are better off than Americans because of GDPR?

Zero robocalls. They don’t exist here. Way less identity theft, as the market for customer information is far more regulated. Are these directly GDPR related, I’m not sure. But they’re certain a result of the greater EU regulation of customer data in general.
Those predate GDPR, and the US also has stringent laws against robocalls and identity theft.

Are you joking? The US is plagued by both. Clearly those laws are under enforced. GDPR is part of an ongoing process of protecting user data in response to technical change and new forms of exploitation.
