Highly unlikely. Pandemics are an inevitable occurrence. Absolutely zero evidence to suggest anything linking it to it being caused by scientists.

This is a blog from the author of a book on Covid "to be released later in 2021". Conflict of interest? Taking it at face value, there are several fuzzy assertions and anecdotal evidence that don't seem very scientific.
