Unfortunately "rationale" and "argument" in today's society are considered polar opposites.

Flexible minds solve problems. Rational arguments are just part of the tool set.

Pedro, it seems you need to go back to @damasiousc's Descartes' Error. There is no separation between feelings, emotions, and reason.

Actions do. (feelings often make them worse, and rational arguments often make a status-quo in practice)
