Is it true that when people train a neural network they often don’t know how it works?
"Divide and conquer" works for only a few things. For everything else there's machine learning.

Doesn't matter to ruling class so long as it's an excuse to ruling over others. Works when it's trained to rule over others w/force. Watch or help New World Order Technocracy Oligarchy raise its freedom stripping head w/more AI. i.e. artificial Intelligence of Iraq invasion

There's a little more to non-ML algorithms than "divide and conquer". I like to identify optimization algorithms that seem almost intelligent in their performance, such as robust estimators and shortest-path algorithms.
