Unfortunately some of those institutions have endowments which will secure their existence for decades

Dunno. Markets correct in miraculous ways. If we remove the perverse incentives from government, reduced attendance, competition, students getting punished in job market, etc. would force corrections swiftly.

So you think that universities will collapse?

"When wokeism collapses..." Sadly I am afraid of just how many years the "collapse" will actually require (to become permanent) and how many of us will still be alive when it does.
